COMMUNING WITH FLOWERY SUBJECTS

There's a relationship and unity between subject and object, consciousness and existence are imbued with the Divine Spark. On a certain level subject and object are one, there is a unity from a vibrational perspective.

If you commune, focus long enough, a flower will tell you how it wants to be photographed, from what perspective, and how it will look most beautiful.

Color matching when it comes to monitors and printing, it's sort of a mishigas, unless you use exotic metering matching equipment and software, is akin to voodoo. My solution is simple and eloquent, use kinesiology and and your inner self thru an o-ring test, " How should I adjust this color, so it will look and come out good". Then remember to write down your settings. Essentially you make a "O" with your thumb and forefinger. With the forefinger of your
other hand, see how strong the ring holds, before you can pull it apart. Before you do this, ask yourself a question, " Do I need more red ? "

The orchid above was taken at a recent orchid show, at the Coconut Grove Convention Center in Miami, Fl.

One morning we were walking along Hollywood Beach (Fl.), and came across a planter with a flowering cactus. You would want to be really careful, should you ever desire to pick one of these blossoms. They have a delicate beauty of their own.

A couple of years ago we were designing a network for a company in Dade City, Florida, not too far from Tampa. Right in front of the main entrance was magnolia tree in bloom. If you remember what the father of Gestalt Psychology,Fritz Pearls, said about the 'present moment'.

Study these flowers, and take a moment of presence to get the full benefit.

Psychoimmunology is a term that applies to flower remedies. If you feel a photo of a flower can be beautifully calming and relaxing, try flower remedies, as well as essential oils and aromatherapy.

Alakananda Ma, http:/www.alandiashram.org , is an Ayurvedic practitioner and healer in Boulder Colorado who designed and works with Flower and Gem Remedies. I first met her during the early 90's.

There are sutras that mention that the Rishis learned the characteristics of herbs and medicinal plants thru the practice of Samyama. ( Deep focus and meditative concentration).

Photos carry their own special vibration. See if you can experience this yourself.
